Cancellation and refund policy

We understand plans change. This policy explains how to reschedule or cancel a session booked with Garth Betteley Personal Training.

The 24-hour notice period

You can reschedule an individual session up to 24 hours before its scheduled start time, subject to available appointments. Online changes close within 24 hours of the session. If you need help, contact Garth at garthbetteleypt@gmail.com or 07581 188690.

Single sessions

Cancel a single session at least 24 hours before it starts and the amount paid for that session will be refunded to the original payment method. You can use the secure link in your calendar invitation to cancel and request this refund.

A card booking is paid in full at checkout. If you choose cash, a £10 deposit is paid online and the remaining £25 is due in cash at the session. An eligible cancellation of a cash booking refunds the £10 deposit; the unpaid cash balance is not charged.

Session packs

Each session in a 5- or 10-session pack may be rescheduled individually with at least 24 hours' notice. The secure calendar-invitation link lets you amend that specific session without affecting the others in the pack.

A pack may be cancelled and refunded in full before its first session, provided every session in the pack is still at least 24 hours away. Use the secure link in any of that pack's calendar invitations and select “Cancel pack & refund”. Once the first session in a pack has taken place, the pack is non-refundable. Any remaining sessions may still be rescheduled in line with the 24-hour notice rule.

Late cancellations and missed sessions

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session, and missed sessions, are not refundable and count as used. This protects time that has been reserved exclusively for you.

Refund timing

Where a refund is approved, it is sent to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take several working days to show the refund in your account.

Changes by GBPT

If GBPT needs to cancel a session, you will be offered a suitable alternative time or a refund of the amount paid for the affected session.
